Mr. Shariff aka Ayip & Mrs. Lin wedding | Taiping

This time around, the photo shoot was quite far from KL..in a north state of Peninsular Malaysia; Taiping. It’s the second largest town in Perak and a town that rains a lot in a year compared to other states. The couple first met in a friend’s wedding. From there, their love grew stronger each day and finally, it opens their heart to tie the know with an engagement. Ayip called me and booked me as their official wedding photographer months before the big day, to make sure that I am available. The photo shoots in Taiping gave me a new experience. A nice place for outdoor shooting and a bit tricky to shoot in a wooden kampung house. Anyways, a million thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Ayip for trusting in my work and for their co-operations to make the photo shoots a success!

May love and happiness filled in your marriage!

Nina & Syahril Seremban,N9..

It was my wife fren, who also my fren, Saba a.k.a Nina (nama geds dia) wedding day. My wife and I reached Seremban around 9.30 am to capture her long awaited BIG DAY of her life(kawen gak si Nina), to be married with Syahril. They met in Jiwa Kacau hiking club.

Fisha bebeh (the pengapit and also member Nina dr sek rendah lagi) was already at Nina’s house. When the 3 gurls or should I say ladies met...u know la what happen...kegedikan terselah.

At around 11 am, the Akad Nikah ceremony was done by Nina’s father. About 3 times rehearsal before the real ceremony. 2 kali lafaz..Nina was already taken by Syahril as his wife. The room was then filled with tears of joy and happiness. The youngest daughter of the family has become somebody’s wife.

CONGRATES to both Nina & Syahril and WELCOME to the marriage life.

The bride and groom chose to wear white and grey for their reception ceremony later that evening. They look great. I really love the food. Daging salai masak lemak cili api, ayam rempah, tempoyak, sambal belacan, ulam petai and jering, ikan masin goreng...yummy...slurrpp.

Around 5, we went for outdoor shooting at the museum. The weather is good. It is hot...really hot. I managed to capture some great shots. .

Thanks to Nina’s and co. for the co operations given and for selecting me to capture her wedding day.

Here are some of the output from that day. Enjoy!

Azizul & Hana Outdoor Potraiture

Firstly, a BIG THANKS to Azizul & Hana, for putting thier trust on me to captured thier BIGGEST day of thier life, from the “Akad Nikah”, reception and “bertandang” ceremony, outdoor and protraiture shooting.

The “Akad Nikah” event was held on 31st Oct morning, at Bkt Baru mosque, Melaka. It was then followed by a reception ceromony to celebrate the newly wedded couple. Family and friends (ex-schoolmates, ex-collegues, collegues, Wira SE club members, etc.) were there to witness and share the happiness for this cute Pengantin.

The decorations for “Bilik Pengantin”, “Pelamin” and “Meja Beradab” were so simple and nice, so does the makeup for Hana. All ws done by Wiwin. The food was delicious. Everything goes perfectly well. Around 3 pm, there was a heavy downpour, and we were praying that it will stop before 5, as we wanted to go to an outdoor shooting. Alhamdulillah, it stopped before 5 and we managed to go for outdoor shootings.

Bukit Kluang | Besut

“Bukit Kluang” or also known as Dendong Beach Park, located 140 km form KT and a few kilometer from Kuala Besut town. There is a wooden walkway built through a rocky cave, extended to the sea. Now, only half of the walkway can be used by visitors as the other half has been broken down by the monsoon waves.

For me, Bukit Kluang beach is a magnificent beach in Malaysia, with a rocky cave near the beach. No wonder, it has been one of a favorite destination during the weekend and public holiday.

Ayu & Azli Reception : Tok Bali

For my shoots this time, is for a friend who I’ve known for quite so long, when I am still actively involved in the outdoor world. “Kecik” is his nickname, and I guess, most of our friends do not know his real name. Most of the hikers knew “Kecik”, as his nickname fitted his physical. I used to assign “Kecik” as our runner to the campsite in most of our trips.

For this time around, I am with “Kecik” not for our outdoor activities, but for his wedding reception in Tok Bali. Tok Bali is a famous beach and fishermen village located in Kelantan.

After office hour on Thursday, I rushed with my family to Tok Bali. We only stopped at Raub for our Halal Chinese cuisine dinner (yummy..), and take 5 at Gua Musang and Kuala Krai. We arrived at Cherang Ruku, Tok Bali around 2 in the morning.

I only get a few hours of sleep after driving for 8 hours from KL. That same morning, the “Akad Nikah” ceremony was held at a nearby Mosque. I arranged the outdoor shooting in the evening, so that I could took my wife and daughter to KB for shopping.

Mira & Fauzi

After Friday Prayer, I rushed back to my hometown, MUOR. I just drop by at my mom’s house to have some rest and to see my mom before she take off to Kelantan with my cousin. After an hour, I made my way to BP…back to business…to shoot Akad Nikah ceremony between Mira & Fauzi that night. I was lost my way to Mira’s house but thanked GOD , I could make it on time…just in time. The ceremony held at Masjid Jamek, BP, after Isya’.

It’s a tiring day, but as a photographer, I was satisfied with the outcome. I do not know any good places for outdoor shooting in BP. The only place I knew is Pantai Minyak Beku. I convinced myself that I can have a great shot here even though I’ve never been here before. These shots was arranged in the evening. Shots were taken while we enjoy the wonderful view on sunset.

Thank You to both Mira and Fauzi..for giving full co-operations to this outdoor shooting.

Hope you enjoy the views as we did!
